I have to give huge props to the seniors who get up for a sunrise photo session on a Saturday! I mean, it’s not even my favorite. Mary Carolyn was super duper awesome getting up and on a chilly morning. I think my toes started to freeze as we walked through the cold dew on the ground.
First, we started her session at home and I was stoked because I love when home means something to them. I drove up to basically my dream house. Their home sits on beautiful property with a lake. It was early morning and the fog still hung over the quiet water. I could easily imagine myself sipping hot coffee on their back porch overlooking the lake every morning. I couldn’t wait to get down on that water with beautiful MC.
After shooting at that gorgeous location we took off and made a few stops at some of her other favorite spots. Then we ended at her friend’s family’s property where best buds hang out sometimes. I still love to hear how friendships are so important to high schoolers. I also love that her mom and dad were excited and joined us on our adventure and her dad had some great ideas himself. The session was so easy and the perfect way to start the day.
Besides her relationship with her parents I love that Mary Carolyn and her friends are huge sushi fans and will drive an hour to get some great rolls. That’s girl after my own heart! Not only do we share a love of sushi but she’s also a fan of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I sure hope, like me, her everyday life reminds her of Friends episodes and brings a smile to her face. Lastly, she loves to stay fit and healthy and that is one thing we all need in our lives.
Mary Carolyn, Thank you for being such a trooper on a cold day. You rock! I’m excited for all that lies ahead of you and I pray all your dreams come true!
