Oh, beautiful Ellie! I photographed her and her brother a few years back and now here she is a senior! How does time fly so quickly? It had been awhile since I’d seen her so it was fun to chat and get to know who she is now.
We met on a chilly day in Selma but Ellie hung in there like a champ in her gorgeous graduation dress. I know, maybe it’s not your typical dress for a senior graduation but it’s a thing in the south. Isn’t it just lovely! It feels very Pride and Prejudice to me! I think I need to go watch that!
Anyway, it was great hanging out with Ellie and her mom and laughing together. Laughing is one of Ellie’s favorite things and she’s pretty great at it! She has such a chill nature about her and it seems to put everyone at ease. I loved hearing how much she loves her family and hopes to be at Alabama next year with her big brother. Roll Tide!
Ellie, I had so much fun hanging out with you and I pray all the blessings over your senior year and your future. Enjoy it all, learn what you need to learn and do what you can to leave it a better place!
I love that she was adventurous and explored down by the creek in her cream dress! What a brave girl!
