I still can’t believe I started this little business on my own about 12 years ago and have made it a full time gig. I have so enjoyed every couple whose wedding I’ve photographed, every baby, family, senior, business, and event. . . all of it! You guys have made me believe I’m more capable than I think I am. You have helped me grow so much and allowed me to live a life I love.
While I like change I also like to just have things set so you always know what to do. Unfortunately, I’m learning that you can’t have both. If things stay the same you get stagnant and board so sometimes you gotta mix it up a bit to breathe life back into it or you. It’s time for a mix up here at Meghan Stewart Photography.
With the move from Jacksonville to Selma and then to Georgia life has taken on different shapes. Being in Georgia is so different than I’ve ever known before. . .wife, stepmom, new city, working on new friends, new church, regrowing a business. . . basically new everything. It’s honestly a little overwhelming a lot of the time. The thing is, I love my family, I love personal growth, I love a challenge and change. Yes, it’s uncomfortable but if you want to grow and be stronger you have to use muscles you haven’t used. So, I’m taking a leap and I’m joining in a partnership with another photographer and create The Studio at Daisy Hill!
Meet Debbie. She’s pretty much a native to Peachtree City, has been a photographer for 20 years and has a great family. Like me, she loves to see people happy and whole and to know they were created with a purpose. She also loves to get to know people and tell their stories through images and make her work more than that but also a mission or ministry. I think we’ll make a great team!
I said this whole venture is fun, scary, and exciting because well it is all of those things. It’s scary to let go of something you’ve built for years that feels like it’s your baby. It kind of begins to be your identity and changing it feels like you’re losing yourself. So scary for sure but of course MSP goes with me everywhere I go, right! It’s so fun and exciting to dream of all the new things we can do together and build something new. I’m excited to have someone to bounce ideas off of and benefit from each other’s strengths! We’re excited to really partner together to capture who each family, wedding, senior, and business truly is. We are ready to up-level each other and give you guys the best service and experience we can.
I’m super excited about the adorable studio we’ll have at the Venue at Daisy Hill in Fayetteville, Ga! We can’t wait to meet our clients there to hear their stories, share their images with them and help them through the whole process from start to finish. We’ll be doing weddings, families, lifestyle, seniors, and branding photography. So many stories to tell! So be sure to go over to our new site www.daisyhillstudio.com to take a look at our work (you guys might see your faces there too). Of course this feels like starting over again so there’s so much to come so be sure to keep watching and following along on our facebook page and instagram. We’re also offering a special on our regular sessions to celebrate so be sure to contact us asap!
To all my Selma and Jax friends, this does not mean I’m leaving you guys! You all are in my heart forever and I’ll be back to continue telling your stories! Please free to leave some love here or facebook to encourage us as we begin this fun, scary, and exciting journey!
