Lisa from Bogotá, Colombia and I from Jacksonville, Florida met in Delta Junction, Alaska and almost 20 years later in Senoia, Georgia for a family session. We met when we were both going to high school or college in the frozen tundra. How funny for us two to end up so far north in the cold! She was into the drama and speech program and I into the arts. When we graduated we both went back home, she to her beloved Sammy and I to my beach.
I have so enjoyed and been enthralled watching her life unfold in South American. Lisa still loves acting and is actually on her way further north to scout out some locations for a future film. Besides enjoying watching what she’s been up to I have loved seeing her family grow. How adorable are their kiddos! They are all so sweet, obedient, and bilingual. I’m so big on the bilingual thing. Their little Spanish and English is the cutest ever!
Anyway, I was honored when I got her message asking if I’d be free for a quick session as they passed through Georgia. Of course I would! We had the same thought for a fun location in Senoia, Georgia. Her daughter was super excited to find out The Walking Dead is filmed there. It was a great time chasing the yummy light, laughing, catching up, and celebrating the Colombians in the World Cup. It was a wonderful night!
