I mean who wouldn’t want a pool party after going to Luke & Aimee’s second birthday party! My friends, Kate & Rayne, did a stupendous job planning their little one’s birthday celebration. The pool was so welcoming on a hot September day in Selma, AL. The food & drink were perfect, balloons blowing in the breeze celebratory, & the cake, of course made by Kate of Wood & Spoon, was adorable & delicious!
My favorite part of the day you ask. . . It was either Brett or James, one of the birthday kiddos dads, who passed me & said, “Thanks for documenting our lives!” My heart jumped when I heard those words. He gets it. He realizes his life, even the little moments of friends & family sitting around a pool, are important to document. So I sat behind my friends & their kids & told their story. The story of people who invest in one another. Who encourage you, cry with you, surprise you, laugh with you, & pray for you. I’m so blessed to have found such a community in little ol’ Selma town. . . now to find it in Peachtree City.
Anywho, you guys, thanks so much for allowing me to tell your family’s stories & for your friendships! Love you guys so much!
See that picture down there on the left of the two little ones? That is Luke & Aimee just two days old. What if they got married you guys?
You guys! Matching swimsuits? How cute are they!
